Quantity Surveying

Since 1975 Rand Associates has provided Quantity Surveying services associated with all aspects and stages of the construction process including new build, repairs, maintenance, alterations, improvements and regeneration, to a high standard. During this time we have developed a large and valued client base covering the private and public sectors, employer and contractor organisations, throughout the UK and overseas.

Industry change has dictated the need for continual diversification of the role of the QS and the wide experience, initiative and leadership of the partners has enabled Rand Associates to meet this challenge. Whilst the more "traditional" QS work such as cost planning, budget estimating, measurement and production of bills of quantities has been maintained as a core activity, the service we offer has been extended in conjunction with implementation of term maintenance Schedule of Rates contracts, particularly in the areas of tender procurement, technical/financial audit and dispute resolution. We also provide extensive QS services such as financial planning of long term maintenance programs, life cycle costing and cost in use analysis arising from our involvement in Stock Condition Surveys.
